Rose the orphaned Wombat

Face of a wombat

From hairless scars to hair regrowth within weeks

Rose, an orphaned wombat, came into care in October 2019 after being picked up off the road near her mother who was hit by a car. Rose had lost most of her hair on her back and was covered in road gravel. Over time her sores healed but fur did not return and she continually had outbreaks of sores on her back.

Wildlife carer Cynthia tried various products and washes to relieve poor Rose’s discomfort, but it appeared she would always have the hairless scars on her back. It was suggested to Cynthia to contact Addy - founder of CritterKleen® - to enquire about his new products. Cynthia then started sponging little Rose daily with our CritterKleen® ‘Natural Skin Repair’ and the photos tell the rest of her story. The scabs have fallen off the sores after one week of using CritterKleen®. After two weeks, the redness has gone and the skin has started to recover. After 4 weeks of treatment, the fur has started to regrow and Wombat joey Rose appeared to feel much better.

This is Cynthia’s feedback:

I am now spraying CritterKleen® ‘Natural Skin Repair’ onto bare skin and the new hair growth is amazing! I feel Rose is much happier and now takes herself off to explore the outside world and has spent a couple of nights away. She gets a good spray on her return.
