Bedding Powder - for poultry, dogs, and cats - 200g
Bedding Powder - for poultry, dogs, and cats - 200g
Deodorises. Cleans. Conditions.
Contains: slow-dried Kunzea leaf, talcum powder, and apple pomace flour.
Keep your animals’ coats, bedding, and clothing healthy with this magic mix! The slow-dried Kunzea leaf is from Flinders Island, Tasmania, and gives the product its natural smell. The finely milled Kunzea fibres help dry-clean away dirt, stains, and soiling, when sprinkled onto sleeping beds, mats, feathers and fur. The ultrafine talcum enables the Bedding Powder to penetrate down to skin or pile level. Apple pomace flour is an excellent natural absorber of moisture, which helps improve natural environmental hygiene.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Shake jar to loosen contents. Store the container in a dry place with the lid closed.
In animal housing, litter should be dusted liberally on first use and every few days subsequently. Application to freshly turned litter is better than to wet or caked litter.
Nesting materials and dust baths should also be liberally powdered whenever they are cleaned or refreshed. Refreshing them with smaller amounts of Bedding Powder every 1 or 2 weeks is also recommended. The more frequently you add more Powder the more effective it will be in keeping materials dry and friable.
CritterKleen Bedding Powder can also be used a coat conditioner. Pour some powder into a wide neck bowl, then generously dip the bristles of a pet brush into the powder and work into your dog’s or cat’s dry fur, spanning the whole animal. After several grooming sessions you should notice improvement in hair softness. After grooming, let the animal shake off excess powder in a well-ventilated location. Only groom dry animals, as moisture will cause the powder to clump.
Pet clothing, fabrics, and carpets can also be coated with Bedding Powder. Using a small brush, meticulously work the powder into areas of excess soiling, so that it reaches the base layers of the material. Do not apply Bedding Powder to wet fabric.
For carpets, work well into the pile and use a gentle circular brushing motion to improve cleaning efficacy. Do not apply Bedding Powder to wet carpets. Leave the product for a minimum of one hour (overnight is fine), then remove loose or used powder using a good vacuum suction. The fine material can block vacuum filters easily, so clean your filters after removing the residual powder.
