Keera the Border Collie X Kelpie
Treating skin scrapes with CritterKream® barrier cream
Keera, the Border Collie X Kelpie is an athletic dog and enjoys a life full of exercise and playtime with her active owners. Their home is well suited for a dog breed like this. Their property encompasses a large yard and is situated in close vicinity to walking tracks and beaches.
A lot of freedom, playtime, running through the bush and along the beaches, comes with the risk of injury. While working dogs are generally well coordinated, sometimes they focus a bit too much on their toys which can cause them to run into obstacles and hurt themselves.
Working dogs are very tough, but it pays to have a small first aid kit at hand. Our 45g tin of CritterKream® is small enough to fit in your back pocket, yet it goes a long way and can be used for small cuts, abrasions and rashes.
Any time your pets skin becomes injured, there's a risk of infection.
Keera ran into a sharp structure a little while ago, when she was chasing her toy. She was lucky and only got a scrape and lost a bit of fur. One might think a cut or scrape is no big deal. But any time the skin gets broken, there's a risk of infection.
CritterKream® works like an invisible bandage. It retains the skin moisture & protects the wound from contaminants.
Here is a short video of Keera being treated with CritterKream®.
